I’m an adult. :o) Yep, that’s right! Today is my 18th birthday. This morning, I woke up at 5 to do my morning devotions, and then spent a few minutes with my parents. They each gave me a sweet card, and I got a brand new black, genuine leather Reformation Study Bible (NKJV) for my birthday. About half an hour ago, the doorbell rang, and I received 18 pink roses from my parents, also! (Pictures should be posted after the weekend).
Dad and I went to the abortion mill this morning (not much to report there) and then the three of us went out for breakfast. Also for my birthday, my grandma and aunts (on Dad’s side) pitched in and got me a GPS for my car! I’ve had a lot of fun using it. Even when I go places I know how to get, it’s so much fun to have it on. Technology is amazing.
Sunday after church, we’re having a BUNCH of people over from church to celebrate my birthday, and my sweetie is driving down tomorrow to be here in time for the festivities as well as to find and purchase a truck to use in moving to Orlando! :o)
