About Mary Jo
October 30, 2007 by Mary Jo
I’m a follower of Christ, bought by His precious blood and sanctified daily by His grace. He is my all-in-all and I seek to always bring Him glory, to love Him with my heart, mind, soul, and strength. I try to share His glorious gospel with as many as I can, and seek to defend the unborn who are being carried to the slaughter.
As of May 10, 2008, I am the wife of my own beloved knight. I’ll never deserve him, but always try to treasure him as the gift from God he is. I am trying to learn how to properly fill my God-given role as a wife and keeper of our home. I enjoy homemaking, and am always trying to expand my knowledge and abilities in it. Additionally, I am pursuing a BA in Christian Studies through the Whitefield College distance learning program.
This blog will be about my walk with Christ, homemaking, books I read, ministering at the killing place, and various other topics as I see fit. It is my hope that it will be used to bring glory to Christ and edify those who read it.
I very much enjoy hearing from my readers! Feel free to send me a letter at pottersclay110 at gmail dot com. I will do my best to reply as time allows.

Dear Mary Jo,
I think your blog is quite interesting to read. Unfortunately I am not a reader of your other blogs so I have some questions (if this is okay…). You write that you spend your time with studies and preparing to be a homemaker. And you write that you have a “darling” - so are you engaged? And are you preparing the wedding (what is very time consuming, too ;-)) And may I ask how old you are?
So I hope you don“t take this questions as mere curiosity but I think I can understand your personal situation better!
BTW my name is Madeleine, I am 22 and live in Spain for 7 years now. I am married (since August) and work at universitiy.
Blessings, Madeleine
Questions are completely fine with me :) Let’s see…I am not officially engaged yet, but we have been courting for nearly two years. The understanding at the beginning of our courtship was that we wanted to eventually be married, and I have done a small amount of wedding planning, though not much since we do not have a date set yet. I am going to be 18 next month.
